Art Trade provides investment-grade art for investors - looking at art not just as something to hang on a wall but also as an asset class for those diversifying their investment portfolio.
We were commissioned by the owners of Art Trade to develop the brand identity, website and investor brochure.
We worked with an experienced copywriter, Ken Munn, who has extensive knowledge of the fine art market to create a brand that conveyed authority yet had a contemporary feel.
THE LONDON GENTLEMAN
The London Gentleman is a creative production house that creates visually striking, premium quality books that also incorporate innovative video technology.
They produce work for automotive, marine and aviation clients and various sports marketing companies.
New England has designed the company's identity and is involved in all its design production, photographic art direction and product development.
ECO DESIGNER HOME
Carpenter Tristan Titeux commissioned us to develop an identity, website and brochure for his Eco-Designer Home brand and Milo table. Milo is craft-constructed using offcuts of waste timber and board from fitted furniture.
That's why no two Milos are the same. Dimensions are identical, but offcut availability determines the colours and textures that run through these original and intriguing tables.
Palette is an event management and catering company that creates elegant and memorable experiences for private and corporate clients.
We redesigned their identity, website and corporate stationery in collaboration with Sarah Farrugia - a leading London-based marketing consultant.
Everything was based around the theme of "brilliantly simple". We commissioned food photographer Marte Lundby Rekaa to help us develop a vibrant and quirky palette of distinctive imagery for the website.
Silvia Nayla and her business partner Daniela Martins are passionate ambassadors for contemporary Brazilian design. The two friends, both born in Brazil, opened their Notting Hill shop in 2007 after spotting a UK niche.
They approached New England to create a distinctive brand identity for them that fused an organic and expressive Brazilian design aesthetic with a cool, sophisticated Westbourne Grove setting. We conducted extensive research that involved deepening our understanding of product lines; sustainability issues; Brazilian culture; the Notting Hill clientele and neighbourhood.
We presented a broad range of concepts before reaching consensus on a simple, elegant solution that we rolled out across the company website, printed literature and signage.
With a history steeped in the drama, passion and intensity of Formula One, Fellow Productions has developed a reputation as one of the leading F1 and MotoGP production companies in the UK. And, in addition to motor racing, they are increasingly in demand in other areas of film production including commercials, promos and high-end corporate videos for a host of well-known premium brands.
The owners of the business approached New England for a new brand identity. We based our concept on the curves of a race track and the adrenalin of a countdown timer. We produced stationery, packaging, signage and digital graphic assets.
Back Talent is a private equity investment company which offers investors a unique opportunity to earn attractive financial returns in sport. Back Talent's principal investment strategy is to invest in sporting academies. The goal for these investments is the identification, development and education of talented young sports men and women.
New England conceived the Back Talent logo which contributed to the company attracting significant financial investment and the backing of international sports stars such as Lee Westwood. We also produced Back Talent's company website, corporate stationery, client brochure and promotional video.
Back Talent is currently advising a select group of high net worth investors about a range of football investment opportunities. New England produces all the company's confidential investment documents.
In the words of the company's founder:
"New England has been providing the creative direction for "Back Talent" for the past 4 years and has proved a valuable and trusted ally in the development of the business and the brand.
Across all print, online and offline marketing, New England's steer and ability to interpret our ideas and convert them into a tangible finished product has been vital.
The nature of our business means that we are often working against the clock and ad-hoc projects need delivery - New England has been responsive and sensitive to our requirements to ensure we always have met our business objectives."

CENTURY DENTAL CLINIC
The owner of Century Dental Clinic had a clear vision for his practice. He wanted to create an environment that had a calm and reassuring feel for his patients.
The interior design evoked the spirit of the coast with soft sand-coloured tiles and pale blue glass. New England was engaged to create a brand identity that built on this theme. We advocated using the image of a nautilus shell to symbolise symmetry, harmony and protection.
Once the identity was formulated, we applied it to the practice website, corporate stationery and patient literature. We also designed the interior and exterior signage.
Photographer Stefan Lubomirski de Vaux approached New England to help hone his brand to appeal to a more discerning client base.
Inspired by the legendary New York photographer, Weegee (the pseudonym of Arthur Fellig) we proposed that Stefan should call himself "lubo".
We spent hours sifting through Stefan's catalogue of work - dating back over forty years - to create five galleries of cohesive and compelling work. We worked with him on the Artisans gallery, art directing a number of photo shoots with highly skilled crafts people.
The new identity was applied to all Stefan's marketing collateral including his website, promotional literature and stationery.
The brief was simple. The client wanted a new name. New identity. New website.
We came up with the name Jazz Flowers. We introduced a simple, striking colour palette of chocolate and lime. We advised on the interior design, furniture, lighting and staff uniforms; we designed and produced new packaging, stationery, labels, signage and van liveries. We art directed several photo shoots.
We also designed an e-commerce website and advocated a large plasma screen for the shop. The transformation of the Fulham shop led to the purchase and fit out of a Teddington shop as well.
"Beyond 40º South is no law. Beyond 50º South no God." 19th Century Whalers' saying
Between no law and no god lies the land of the long white cloud. 47º South is one of the most awesome parts of New Zealand.
For active lifestyle retailer 47º it is a sacred place and a source of inspiration.
Extreme, exhilarating and enticing, 47º is where life is lived.
We art directed photography for 47º on location in Switzerland and in the studio in London. Also, we designed flyers, brochures, signage, clothing and a fully integrated e-commerce website.
DUNLOP LT SERIES
New England was commissioned to define the look and feel for this innovative range of safety footwear. We named the brand the LT SERIES (LT = light and tough).
We art directed still life photographer Darrell Russell to shoot the products with the same aesthetics and production values as a car campaign.
The branding helped our client win contracts with 2012 Olympic site contractors and engineers Arup.
